2020 Platform: Empowering Mothers to Raise Healthy Children

What exactly does this mean...

We are committed to using our TIME AND TALENTS to change lives for the better! We all have unique, individual talents and skill sets and we can share them. Ask yourself, "What skills, strengths, and knowledge do I have that could possibly help another woman in Charlotte County better her living situation?" This year, our focus is the United Way of Charlotte County funded Kids Thrive Community Collaboration. To read more about Kids Thrive, click here. We are empowering the mothers of the Kids Thrive Circle of Parents peer support group to raise healthy children.

HOW can I share my TIME AND TALENTS...

Helping with Women United mission focused and awareness events such as:

Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading in Charlotte County
Art in April
Summer Kids Thrive Event
Quarterly Networking / Social Events
Annual Women United Luncheon

As we move forward to help the Kids Thrive Circle of Parents Group, here are some of their suggestions:

Makeovers and other ways of re-fueling to fill their cup

What would this mean for my schedule...

Help as little or as much as you can; whatever your schedule allows! There are no monthly meetings. We promise no other fundraising requests - with the exception of supply drives. (diapers, books, baby clothes, formula)
