Community Investment Grants

United Way of Charlotte County (UWCC) partners with health and human service agencies that address needs in the community and meet certain organizational standards. UWCC invests in programs that advance the common good in our community.

Program Grants

Funding from United Way of Charlotte County dollars is now available. Agencies who are currently funded by the BOCC or COPG are eligible to apply. Applicants are required to attend the mandatory information session on March 31. Applications must demonstrate an aligned contribution to at least one of UWCC's strategic priorities (linked below) to be considered for funding.

TIMELINE

  • March 31, 2023 - Mandatory Information Session
  • April 3, 2023 - Grant Application Released
  • April 28, 2023 (4pm) - Grant Application Deadline
  • May 11 & 12, 2023 - Community Impact Panels
  • May 2023 - UWCC Board approval
  • June 1, 2023 - Funds Released

United Way of Charlotte County (UWCC) has officially closed its 2022-2024 grant cycle for BOCC and COPG funding. Year 1 Mid-Year Report is due April 28, 2023 - link to report is below. The Year 2 Funding Request is included on the report form.

Please note that recipients of funding through the City of Punta Gorda must only use that funding to serve residents of zip codes 33950 and 33955.
