Eva Worden of Worden Farm
Worden Farm is an 85-acre family farm in Florida, founded and actively run by Chris Worden, Ph.D. and Eva Worden, Ph.D., husband and wife, growing certified-organic crops, with sustainable, regenerative, climate-wise agricultural practices since 2003.
Eva Worden’s doctorate is in Ecosystem Management from Yale University. She is a scientist and educator, and, together with her husband, has promoted organic food and agriculture through experimental research, academic publications, videos, television shows, workshops, farm tours, university courses, conferences, consulting, and an intensive farm apprenticeship program. They have participated in agricultural development and community greening projects across the United States and internationally.
Worden Farm produce is 100% USDA-certified organic, safe, affordable, nutrient-dense, delicious, and available directly to the local community in season, Fall through Spring, through a farm box program, a members-only farm stand, and local farmers markets.
Eva Worden and Worden Farm have been incredible supporters of United Way of Charlotte County and Kids Thrive's Circle of Parents. Our team is thrilled to have Eva as our keynote speaker for the 2023 Annual Women United Luncheon.
